Tobacco, cedar, smoke, leather and licorice add savoriness and nuance to this super-expressive Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an especially bright and elegant style for Kenefick Ranch. NVWE Notes: Just a brief airing brings the beauty of this terrific Cab to the forefront, while its dinner-perfect style personifies Napa's brilliant 2016 vintage. The nose is a sweet-natured perfume of focused blueberry, blackberry, black cherry, Cassis, dark rose, violet, laurel, cedar, nutmeg, vanilla, baking-spice and tobacco scents. It is wonderfully supple on the palate, where zesty, focused, forthcoming flavors smother the wine's underlying tannins. The finish is a juicy, elegantly rich, lingering replication of all that the aromas have promised.
