NVWE Notes: Sweet-natured, deeply complex, focused and concentrated, the nose of this beauty offers a luxurious perfume of Amarena cherry, black raspberry, blueberry, violet, pomegranate, red rose petal, pink and black peppercorn, sumac berry, star anise, baking spices and a hint of bay leaf. It is tongue-coating yet fresh in the mouth, where the texture is wonderfully supple despite firmly tannic undercurrents. The flavors are a classy if slightly compressed replica of the aromas and the finish is fruit and spice-packed and very long. The patient can expect improvement for four to eight more years.
