If sweet-natured and easy from start to finish, this is nevertheless a complex and expressive wine. The nose is a rather plump-seeming melange of yellow peach, quince jam, green apple, Meyer lemon, kiwi, pineapple core, orange blossom, white rose, chestnut and sea breeze scents. It is gently creamy and subtly zesty on the palate, where dried peach, lemon curd, Panetone, white pepper, toasted nut and mineral salt flavors are notable. The finish offers soft-edged tropical richness, cut by saline minerality. It is ready to enjoy. 463 cases produced.
