NVWE Notes: This wine shows class and intensity to the nose, where scents of fresh apple, white peach, golden fig, lemon sorbet, orange blossom, vanilla wafer, brioche, honeysuckle and baking-spice find an energetic, surprisingly elegant harmony. Contrasts of creamy richness and zesty, light-hearted fruit create an assertive yet feminine impression on the palate, while hints of saline minerality help drive the balance of the long and notably food-friendly finish. This harmonious beauty should have have even more appeal in another twelve to eighteen months. 260 cases produced.

The 2015 Chardonnay Duvarita Vineyard is quite powerful as a result of tiny yields. Dense, creamy and also phenolic in feel, the 2015 is more ample than subtle in this vintage. Hints of apricot, tangerine and chamomile flesh out on a viscous finish laced with tropical inflections. I would prefer to drink it sooner rather than later.
