ARTHUR PINOT NOIR SPRING HILL VINEYARD SONOMA COAST 2017

NVWE Notes: Gently creamy, if still a bit reserved, the nose of this Pinot Noir offers aromas of red cherry, red boysenberry, pink and red rose petal, canela, peppered bouillon, sandalwood and a hint of forest mushroom. Notes of mace and five-spice make their appearance on the palate, where bottled red cherry, pomegranate juice, strawberry and pink rose stay just in the lead. The finish is supple and the flavors already attractive, if leaning a bit toward the savory side at this point, so this is an appealing dinner wine already. It will be more fruit-dominant if allowed another year in the cellar. 50 cases produced.
