Andis "Painted Fields", Cuvee Blanc, Sierra Foothills 2019
NVWE Notes: If lacking grand richness, the aromas of this slightly exotic blend make up for it in harmony and easy appeal. Vermentino’s saline-minerality is the binder that brings balance to the wine's richer aromas of green plum, green apple skin, pear liqueur, white rose, jasmine and white pepper. It is soft-edged and just a hint off-dry in the mouth, with green plum, lychee, applesauce, bosc pear, white rose, nut husk and white pepper notes. A fine sipper, it should be just the thing to match cold chicken. A blend of 35% Vermentino, 28% Grenache Blanc, 16% Chenin Blanc, 15% Semillon and 6% Arinto.
