From 29-year-old vines on deep, rich, marl gypsum soils, the golden colored 2012 Pinot Gris Clos Jebsal Vendange Tardive offers a noble botrytis aroma with mint and orange flavors, along with sweet stone fruit aromas and a touch of honey. Full-bodied, rich and highly elegant on the palate, this cru from a very steep 1.3 ha vineyard reveals a great power, intensity and persistent minerality that masks the 15% alcohol of this expressive wine.
