This gorgeous Pinot Noir may or may not be the best MacGregor bottling ever, but it must be the most complex. The aromas are both vibrantly zesty and seductively sweet-savory, as scents of coriander seed, cardamom and star anise provide support focused fruit notes centered on lingonberry, sour red cherry cherry and raspberry cream sickle. It is generous,  texturally supple and altogether delightful on the palate, where flavors of black raspberry, lingonberry, sour dark cherry, blood orange zest, hazelnut, sweet pipe tobacco, black tea leaf, sumac berry and pink peppercorn find graceful harmony. If likely at least three years from showing all that it has, it is a joy to drink already.
