Generously ripe and already satisfying, this is a well-priced Cabernet with early appeal. The nose offers aromas of black currant, blackberry, mulberry, dark plum preserves, peppercorn, bouillon and dark forest earth. Blueberry and pomegranate molasses flavors dominate on the palate, where peppercorn, hazelnut husk and cherry pit notes provide appropriate contrasts to balance the wine’s notable ripeness. The finish lingers, with berry, pomegranate molasses and hazelnut at center stage. It is tasty now and promises to be more so in another twelve months or so. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 1,477 cases made.
