This is a polished, youthful Pinot Noir with fine dinner balance and some cellaring potential. The aromas are a genteel mix of strawberry, cranberry and blueberry tied to pretty notes of baking spice and undercurrents of minerality and tobacco leaf. It is supple and gently fresh on the palate with flavors of red and dark berries married with pretty oak spice notes and polished tannins that provides structure. Elegant and lingering the finish is focused on strawberry, lingonberry and blueberry with an undercurrent of hazelnut nougat. An attractive dinner wine now, it should grow in depth over the next eighteen months or so.
