2017 Whitehall Lane Tre Leoni Red Wine
NVWE Notes: Dark cherry, pomegranate syrup, mulberry, sandalwood, pink peppercorn and suggestions of dark earth and dried herbs are all highlights in the nose of this very pleasurable Napa blend. It is a bit plump and only slightly gripping on the palate, where black tea, forest earth and black peppercorn underly a richer core of dark berry and pomegranate. The finish is full and satisfying and grows quite supple as the wine airs.
