NVWE Notes: Built for dinner service and pleasurable from the start, this Zin opens with focused scents of dark sour cherry, black raspberry, dark boysenberry, Victorian toffee, molasses, black licorice and peppery bouillon. It is sleek and attractively polished in the mouth, where a plump, sweet-natured opening impression of candied red cherries is shifted into full dryness as notes of cocoa nibs and hazelnut join the mix. The finish lingers well and with airing a deeper core of sour dark cherry, dark berry and peppercorn emerges. This one is ready to enjoy. 240 cases produced.
