The 2018 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Malconsorts is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of cassis, plums, spices, smoked duck, potpourri and rich soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, rich and powerful, it's a concentrated, textural wine built around succulent acids and ripe tannins, its ample core of fruit complemented by enticing carnal nuances.
