A textbook 2015 in its combination of heavy body braced by a firm texture, this now mature Cab Franc offers  a bouquet of bottled red cherry, cranberry sauce, nutmeg, baking-spice and cinnamon stick scents over earthy-minerally undercurrents. The rich body is appropriately balanced with zest on the palate, where red currant, red cherry, dried cranberry, mace and hazelnut flavors rise above a suggestions of dark tobacconist-shop spice. Full to the end, it deserves service with darkly caramelized roasts and the like. 33 cases produced.
