This Syrah dominated Rhone is built for service with Grilled lamb. barbecued meats, tomato sauced pasta, pizza and a myriad of other entrees. The nose is a forthcoming medley of dark cherry, pomegranate syrup, mulled wine, black peppercorn, dark broth and other savory scents. It is soft-edged, zesty and quite dry on the palate, where dark cherry, grenadine, peppercorn, star anise, filé and other spice notes find a bright and lingering harmony. It is ready to enjoy. A blend of 60% Syrah, 30% Grenache & 10% Mourvedre.
