Elegant and harmonious, the aromas of this distinctive wine are a medley of dark cherry, dark boysenberry, blueberry, toffee, tobacco and cocoa nibs, along with a subtle hint of dried herbs. Things are a bit fresher on the palate, where red cherry, red currant and whortleberry flavors dominate, supported by notes of pink peppercorn, coriander seed and baking-spice. The lingering finish is dinner-ready, if youthful, and the wine should improve for another twelve to eighteen months.

Rugged aromas of sagebrush, baked earth and leather give depth to the roasted cranberry core of this wine. Rich and hearty flavors of seared strawberry and muddled mulberry come through on the sip, where a creamy texture leads into gamy hints of blistered pork skin toward the vanilla-kissed finish.
