Forthcoming, and delivering all the richness which was predicted at its initial release, the bouquet of this Pinot Noir is a medley of Bing cherry galette, dark plum tart, black raspberry, mocha, toffee, baking spice and genteel forest floor scents. It proves as rich, tongue-coating and well-evolved as could be hoped on the palate, where flavors of Bing cherry, dark berry, plum, mocha and toffee create an impression of richness rarely found at this price level. The finish is deliciously lingering and food worthy, and the wine is likely to grow further in dimension over the next year. 10 barrels made. Re-tasted 7/10/2024.
