This young vines blend proves surprisingly stylish, and it’s elegantly focused aromas come forth quickly from the glass. The nose is a medley of black raspberry, dark sour cherry, black peppercorn, licorice root, clove and dark earth scents. It is supple and gently plush on the palate, where the flavors are a well-evolved replica of the aromas and the finish is both fresh and lingering. The tannins are soft as well, so the lasting impression is of fresh fruit and peppery spice presented in a dinner friendly way. A blend of 44% Grenache, 36% Mataro, 8% Counoise, 6% Carignane and 6% Shiraz.
