2017 Two Sisters Pinot Noir: (Wine Enthusiast & SF Tasting Panel - 92 Points)

Pinot Noir has just the right amount of acidity to cut through the fat inside dishes like gravy, while being a natural match for turkey, chicken, or any type of light meat. The Two Sisters Pinot Noir is elegant and harmonious. The aromas of this distinctive wine are a medley of dark cherry, dark boysenberry, blueberry, toffee, tobacco and cocoa nibs, along with a subtle hint of dried herbs. Rugged aromas of sagebrush, baked earth and leather give depth to the roasted cranberry core of this wine. Things are a bit fresher on the palate, where red cherry, red currant and whortleberry flavors dominate, supported by notes of pink peppercorn, coriander seed and baking-spice. The lingering finish is dinner-ready!

2020 Brick Barn Rose: (SF Tasting Panel – 94 Points)

Rosé is the perfect wine to accompany many side dishes, salads, and appetizers. This is a beautifully expressive and altogether charming Pinot Noir Rosé. The aromas are an elegant, forthcoming medley of white cherry, wild strawberry, nectarine, watermelon and cherry blossom scents, with a background suggestion of star anise. It is plump, supple and delightfully fresh in the mouth, with plenty of flavor and pristine balance for dinner service. The finish is exceptionally long and the push of nectarine and watermelon at the end makes it a joy to drink all by itself.

2020 Oak Farm Vineyard “Estate” Fiano: (SF Tasting Panel - 97 Points)

Fiano is texted with nutty and floral notes, and just enough acidity to cut the palate in-between bites of turkey and other dishes. It’s the white wine you want at the centerpiece. The Oak Farm is possibly the best Fiano yet produced in the New World. The nose is a vibrant, focused, varietally correct and altogether captivating mix of dry yellow peach, peach pit, white pepper and gardenia. On the palate, mineral, nut husk and pomelo zest notes accent plush yellow peach, nectarine, green melon, Asian pear and gardenia scented flavors. The wines extremely long and supple finish becomes lean and cutting dry by firming minerality that also creates notable food-worthiness. Absolutely delicious, it is ready to enjoy.

2018 Lightpost “La Grand Sofi” Sparkling Rosé (Tasting Panel - 93+ Points):

Bubbles conquer any fatty or rich food flavors, and act as the perfect palate cleanser in-between dishes. This is a delicious sparkler from the hot new, Spanish Springs Vineyard, and a debut winery in San Luis Obispo. The mousse is surprisingly elegant, and the aromas are a subtly harmonious perfume suggestive of bottled red cherries, dried red berries, nectarine pits, orange peel tea, white pepper and sweet biscuits. It is vibrant, pretty and satisfying on the palate, delivering notes of orange pastille, nectarine pit, dried strawberry and biscuits. The body is generous, the finish lingering and the character points toward service with saffron-steamed mussels. A blend of 85% Pinot Noir & 15% Chardonnay.
