Mature and attractively aromatic, this Cab shows a pretty, somewhat autumnal character in its medley of dark cherry, pomegranate molasses, black raspberry, mincemeat, canela, baking spice and licorice root scents. In the mouth it is supple, rounded and flavorful, delivering the same mix of mature fruit and spice and just enough tannin for structure. The finish is a mellow long-lingering replica of all that preceded it. If not remarkably complex or grand, it is satisfying and truly at its best.
