This exceptional Rosé is forthcoming, elegant and rich, yet shows appropriate restraint. The nose crafts scents suggestive of dried red berry, bottled red cherry, old fashioned strawberry candy, pink peppercorn and coriander seed into a stylish harmony. There is an appealing piquancy to those same flavors on the palate, where bittersweet hints of almond or hazelnut bring a drying element which carries through its lingering, notably food-worthy finish. A blend of 71% Syrah and 29% Grenache, 600 cases produced.
