2018 Talley Chardonnay "Estate" Rosemary's Vineyard Arroyo Grande Valley
NVWE Notes: with its forbearers. The aromas are a creamy, classy, elegant mix of baked white peach pie, baked apple, white rose, toasted meringue, nutmeg, baking-spice and hazelnut scents. In the mouth the texture is plump and silky and the flavors are sweet-natured and long. The finish delivers polished, creamy flavors centered on baked apple, yellow peach, nougat, meringue and nutmeg. A beautiful dinner wine now, it should grow more so for another few years. 300 cases produced.

Light, bright yellow-gold. Mineral-driven pear, orange and floral qualities on the intensely perfumed nose, along with a hint of iodine. Silky, focused and lively in the mouth, offering sharply defined citrus and orchard fruit flavors complemented by suggestions of fennel, sweet butter and honeysuckle. Shows excellent concentration as well as energy, and finishes minerally, precise and very long, with repeating floral and pear notes. 28% new French oak. Drink 2022 - 2030. Josh Raynolds Jan 2021

Delicate aromas of yellow apple, daffodil, lemon blossom and light butter show on the nose of this single-vineyard expression. Familiar and comforting on the palate, the wine lands softly, with poached orange, light butter and delicate oak flavors, leading into a more complex finish of chamomile and cashew.
