his is the most forthcoming of three Pinot Noirs just debuted by Napa’s celebrated Cabernet producer, Hundred Acre. Pretty and forthcoming, the nose offers genteel, focused scents of Bing cherry, red plum, cherry pit, pomegranate, pink rose and hazelnut. It is gently creamy on the palate where baking spice and hazelnut bring savory support to flavors centered on bottled red cherry, cherry pit and red raspberry. These fruit and spice flavors make a grander yet more elegant impression in the finish, which is long and notably harmonious. Lovely and pleasurable already, it should grow in dimension and appeal over the next year or two.
