2017 Stretch Drive Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

NVWE Notes: Suave, balanced and fruit-centric, the aromas of this pretty bottling are immediately appealing. In the nose, scents of red currant, sour red cherry, raspberry, violet and pomegranate syrup take the lead, while mace, cedar, baking-spice and peppercorn chime-in as support. It proves firm and racy on the palate, where the flavors are as forthcoming as the aromas, and these push through to a lingering finish where raspberry and violet take center-stage and mace and hazelnut bring contrast. Quite delicious now, it should improve or another few years. 500 cases made.
