NVWE Notes: Sweet-natured fruit and vibrant zest are hallmarks of the Spottswoode style and the 2020 is a prime example. The nose is fresh, vivid and forthcoming and it surges-forth with scents of honeydew melon, guava, peach pit and nectarine which are given dimension by spice notes of lemon grass, lemon peel, white pepper and a suggestion of parsley. The texture has a polished raciness that uplifts the spice notes on the mid-palate and through a lingering finish where the guava, melon, stone fruit and pink grapefruit flavors are delightful and food-friendly. A blend of 40% Napa & 60% Sonoma Grapes, 3000 cases produced.
