NVWE Notes: This is a wonderfully forthcoming and impressively intense young Cabernet. The nose is packed with dark sour cherry, black cherry, Cassis, sweet tobacco, star anise, Victorian toffee, cedar and hazelnut scents in charming harmony. Black cherry and red currant fruit notes find a plush alchemy on the palate, where mace, cedar, clove, baking-spice and licorice root flavors fan-out in a zesty, lingering, food-worthy display. Already a gorgeous dinner wine, it will likely grow ever more so over the next three or four years. 2800 cases made.
