NVWE Notes: This intense, wonderfully crisp bottling from 50+ year old vines, is likely the best ever Skylark white. The nose is a vibrant rush of lemon blossom, crunchy green apple, honey dew melon and membrillo scents with a wisp of kumquat in the background. On the palate it delivers a mouthwatering, tightly focused rush of fresh green apple, pear, green melon, Meyer lemon and peach pit flavors made racy by their own zest and by sharp mineral underpinnings. The finish is brilliantly food-worthy, notably long and the wine is ready to enjoy. 700 cases produced.
