This is a rich and satisfying Cabernet that delivers forthcoming aromas of dark cherry, cassis, dark tobacco, vanilla and Oolong tea. It proves as rich and supple as hoped on the palate, with generous, well focused flavors that well replicate the aromas and that attractively submerge the wine’s tannins in a tongue coating, lingering display dominated by the ripe fruit. Built for service with steaks, beef roasts and wintry stews. It may yet improve for another twelve to eighteen months. Blended with 5% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petite Verdot, 2% Tannat and 1% Malbec.
