This bubbly opens with a gently creamy nose of elegant zest as intro to aromas of peach pie, toasted meringue and a bit of toasted coconut, these all poised above an undercurrent of tarte tatin and short bread. It offers a rich mousse and is full yet supple on the palate, where lemon short bread, dry peach and baked apple flavors dominate while hints of lemon rind highlight a youthful, lingering finish. Expect it to grow ever more elegant and pleasurable over the next eight to twelve months.
