This is a gorgeously elegant Pinot Noir, centered on vibrantly bright, immediately seductive scents of sweet bottled red cherry, fresh pomegranate, lingonberry and hibiscus, elegantly married to genteel counterpoints of cinnamon red hots, mace and pink peppercorn. It is a fresh as hoped on the palate, where polished tannins join a blush of zest to firm the mouth-feel, yet never blunt the extremely long finish. Another twelve to twenty-four months of celler-time should round out the wine’s youthful edges and bring its sweet-natured, concentrated flavors to the forefront. Nine barrels produced (approximately 225 cases).
