NVWE Notes: Rich, creamy and sophisticated, with a true harmony of fruit and spice, the nose of this Cabernet offers cherry cobbler, black cherry, red currant, mulberry, red rose and violet, tied to suggestions of dried herbs, baking-spice, sweet tobacco, mace, cedar and hazelnut. These elements seem even fuller, creamier and spicier on the palate, where polished tannins join fruit zest to caress flavors of sour red cherry, red currant, violet, cranberry jelly, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, tobacco and dried herbs. The finish is delicious and lingers with no rough edges, yet its energy suggests that several more years in the cellar could make it even more lovely. 235 cases produced.
