If perhaps a bit atypical in fruit expression for a California Viognier, this pretty wine has very appealing fruit indeed and offers the palate-coating texture and length that is hoped for from the grape.  Orange peel, lychee, white pepper, Meyer lemon, and a hint of peach melba are focused and forthcoming elements in the nose, while grapefruit and a hint of lemongrass are added into the mix on the palate, where the lingering flavors have a delightful piquancy. A fine dinner wine, as well as a tasty sipper, it is ready to enjoy.  443 cases produced.
