Sweetly ripe, forthcoming and notably elegant the nose of this fine bottling melds mulberry, blackberry, dark boysenberry and plum galette scents with notes of dark earth, graphite, licorice root and a hint of bay leaf. It is supple and sweet-natured on the palate where zest and polished tannins create a racy mouth-feel for beautifully balanced and lingering flavors that seem a mirror of the aromas. Already delicious, it should grow ever more so over the next few years. 2063 cases produced.
