This bottling is always intense in fruit, always spicy, and admirably consistent. In the 2021 vintage, Ridge’s Pagani Ranch Zin offers aromas and potent flavors of black raspberry, black cherry, cracked black pepper and licorice root along with a potpourri of fruit and spice surprises. The finish lingers and the wine is never less than gutsy, focused and impactful. It should be especially terrific with barbecued meats.
