Zesty and pert, the nose of this old vine Zinfandel offers scents of grenadine, sour red cherry, whortleberry, white pepper and coriander seed, with an emerging note of fig jam. Bright flavors of pomegranate, red currant, cinnamon stick, pink peppercorn, star anise and a suggestion of lavender create a racy medley on the mid-palate and through a lingering finish.
