Youthfully subtle yet expansive as it airs, this pretty Pinot opens to reveal the pedigree of its fine fruit source. The aromas find a genteel harmony between scents of red plum galette, dark cherry, grenadine, cranberry, pink rose and baking spice. Red plum, cranberry, raspberry, pink peppercorn and a suggestion of spice cake fan-out on the palate, while a hint of tobacco and subtle mineral notes are evident in the finish, where the texture is elegantly supple. This is already a pretty and versatile dinner wine and it should grow more so over the next year. 400 cases made.
