Notably elegant yet forthcoming and showing youthfully bright fruit, this fine wine offers expansive aromas of bright red cherry, pomegranate, red plum, sumac berry, pink peppercorn and hazelnut husk. It grows gradually richer on the palate, where fine focus and classy balance carry through an extremely long finish where nuances suggestive of sandalwood, rattan, hazelnut and tobacco leaf bring back stage support for leading flavors of cherry, pomegranate, grenadine, sumac berry and pink peppercorn. Delicious now, it will grow more so for at least another eighteen months.
