It is as zesty and forthcoming on the palate where the fruit is just this side of juicy and gently gripping tannins create an impression of density, while the wine unfolds flavors that prove a coiled mirror of all the nose promises. The finish is long-lasting and the wine is quietly gutsy beneath its elegance. A blend of grapes from the Gap's Crown and Sun Chase vineyards, both in the Petaluma Gap.
