Styled like an elegant French Chardonnay, this classy bottling offers youthfully coiled aromas centered on lemon tart, green apple skin and golden fig, with counterpoints of hazelnut and saline minerality. Initially, lemon sorbet, apple skin and saline mineral notes take center stage on the palate, yet a richer core of fig, honey and vanilla cream comes to the forefront as the wine airs. The lingering finish is both zesty and strongly mineral, so this classy, versatile wine will likely show its very best at this point with oysters, mussels and the like.
