Fresh apple and lemon cream pie scents rise above chalky minerality and notes of quince, vanilla wafer and chamomile in the nose of this pretty debut bottling. If youthfully fresh, it is rich on the palate, where the fruit unfolds through a lingering, tongue-coating finish where flavors of apple, white peach, lemon cream pie and a suggestion of oaky spice all make a harmonious appearance. Already a fine and food-worthy drink, it should steadily improve over the next 18 months. 98 cases produced.
