Sweet-natured, attractively spicy and forthcoming in fruit, this is a delicious Pinot with a fine future. It opens with lovely aromas of whortleberry, red raspberry, wild strawberry, blood orange, baking spice, dried rosemary and hazelnut nougat. On the palate, every thing is bright and graceful,  as flavors of red fruit dominate, yet find easy harmony with savory spice, rich mineral strains and polished tannins.The finish is both sophisticated and lingering and the wine’s impression of elegance carries through to the end. If clearly a lovely dinner wine already, it is just as obviously a wine to repay another four years in the cellar.
