This notably fancy, Montrachet-like wine, opens with plush aromas of white and yellow peach, golden fig, baked apple, poached pear, honey, and baklava. It proves very rich on the palate and very long, with a plush texture and toasted meringue hints at the finish, and appropriate zest for balance. Delicious yet still a bit youthfully stiff, it will be considerably finer in another year and beyond.
