This county cuvée is stunningly delicious, starting with aromas of black cherry, cola, hibiscus and delicate herb on the nose. There is a rich cherry-cola core to the palate, where baked strawberry meets with cardamom cream and dried meat flavors, served atop leathery tannins. — Matt Kettmann 5/1/2024

Fruit-packed and complex, the aromas of this delicious Pinot Noir are a rich, focused medley of Bing cherry, black cherry, grenadine, hibiscus, sumac berry, pink peppercorn and smoked herbs. The wine is impressively fruity on the palate, where grenadine, cherry, strawberry compote, pink peppercorn, tobacco and hints of cardamom and bresaola create an evolving sense of flavor depth. On the palate, it is very long and remarkably complex for its youth and retail price, and although it is not heavy in body it is surprisingly generous and it will surely grow ever more delicious and dinner worthy over the next twelve months. Fruit from the Mission Ranch Vineyard, 1176 cases produced.
