Youthful and notably fruit forward, this focused Pinot delivers aromas of cranberry sauce, dark sour cherry, lingonberry, Mr. Lincoln rose, roasted beet, baking spice, herbal and forest floor scents, poised above subtle minerality. The same complex fruit and spice mix recurs as a slightly coiled reprise of the nose, while both zest and tannin bring firmness to reinforce an impression of youth. The finish is long lingering and the balance brilliantly food worthy, so it gives pleasure already despite being at least two years from demonstrating how truly elegant it may become. 329 cases produced.
