NVWE Notes: Firm, concentrated and complex, this is classic Mayacamas all the way. In the nose, the golden apple, baked green apple, apple skin, white peach tart, dried yellow peach, membrillo, honey, nutmeg and baking-spice scents line up with focus and fine intensity. There is weight yet piquant freshness to bring balance on the palate, where peach pit, preserved lemon and quince paste flavors accent a deeper core of apple, vanilla, nougat and hazelnut husk. Fresh and lingering yet never less than generous, the finish rounds-out a truly satisfying experience. This delicious beauty should yet improve for another eighteen months or  perhaps even longer. 1800 cases produced.

The 2019 Chardonnay is fabulous. Next to the 2018 in this tasting, it has more resonance and overall depth. Power, depth and energy all come together in this beautifully layered, expressive Chardonnay. Lemon oil, almond, chamomile and dried flowers fill out the layers effortlessly.
