A picture of harmony, intensity and focus, this wine offers aromas of red plum galette, lingonberry, red raspberry, mace, five spice, and dried herbs poised above a rich undercurrent of toffee. It is at once surprisingly youthful yet notably plush on the palate, where polished tannins create a sleek impression to uplift flavors that are a true mirror of the nose. All these elements seem to grow in dimension as airing fleshes out the harmonious, lingering finish.
