At once elegant and concentrated, the aromas of this fine Pinot Noir come forth as a harmonious medley of sour dark cherry, whortleberry, grenadine, pink peppercorn,sandalwood and hazelnut scents. It is rich and focused on the palate yet racy in texture, as suggestions of Campari-like spice bring a bittersweet contrast to the core flavors of cherry, cranberry, peppercorn and hazelnut. It lingers nicely, with a stylishness that carries the racy impression all the way to the end. Delicious already, but it will be much more so in eighteen months and beyond. 303 cases produced.
