Forthcoming and elegant, the nose of this red is a focused, varietally on-target mix of strawberry, cherry pit, grenadine, red licorice, pink peppercorn and mace scents, with subtly earthy undertones. Cherry and red raspberry notes dominate on the palate, where things are bright, generous, attractively spicy and lingering. The texture is gently palate-coating and the balance notably food worthy. 325 cases produced.
