This wine is sleek and zesty in style yet textbook “Soberanes” in fruit character. The aromas are a racy medley of lemon sorbet, pineapple core, fresh apple, white pepper and vanilla wafer scents poised above a slate-like mineral backdrop. It is generous in character and textural richness on the palate although zest and minerality firm the mouth-feel. The flavors of fresh apple sauce, lemon peel, white peach pit, pineapple core and drying river-stone notes hold focus through a lingering, food-worthy finish.
