If crisp and reticent at first opening, this young Sauvignon Blanc quickly proves impressively varietal and elegantly balanced. The nose unveils fruit-centric aromas of melon and papaya, counterpointed by spice notes of white pepper, cilantro and lemon grass. Those fruit notes dominate on the palate as well, although a suggestion of fresh parsley joins the herbal spice panorama. The whole package carries through a lingering, notably food-worthy finish. With airing the wine grows progressively more pretty and should grow in dimension for at least another year or so. 2000 cases produced.
